This home is a milestone in sustainable building. It is the first home in Summit County to achieve Gold Certification from the USGBC's LEED program. Environmentally responsible features include photovoltaic & hot water solar; beetle-kill pine siding, trim & interior wood; salvaged lumber for structural members & interior features; low-VOC adhesives and finishes throughout. The home won 7 awards in the 2010 Summit County Parade of Homes plus Mountain Living Magazine's coveted Peak Award.
